Staff Product Manager, Data Platform

About the Company

Foxglove is the data platform for Physical AI. Built for robotics teams developing real-world systems, Foxglove provides a purpose-built, modular platform to collect, organize, and learn from vast quantities of multimodal data, creating the data flywheel to safely scale from development to distributed fleets.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Strategy & Roadmap for data management, discovery, curation, and evaluation
• Partner with Search and Curation engineering teams to deliver innovative data layers
• Lead design partnerships with lighthouse customers to validate new capabilities
• Work with GTM to implement a product-led growth model
• Ensure seamless integration between the Data Platform and Visualization and Fleet products

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience
• 2+ years in robotics, autonomous vehicles, developer tools, data infrastructure, or AI/ML development
• Deep technical understanding of data lakes, indexing strategies, vector databases, and SQL
• Experience with cost/performance tradeoffs of hot vs. cold storage
• 0→1 mindset for turning technical capabilities into commercial products
• Ability to use data to define success metrics like query latency and ingestion rates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or AV data tools such as ROS, MCAP, or sensor fusion
• Background in building Search products using embeddings, vector DBs, or RAG
• Experience building Data Evaluation pipelines or AI/ML model development
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Snowflake, or Datadog
