Staff Product Manager, Card Schemes

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact projects from ideation to launch, focusing on expanding card scheme coverage and market reach.
• Optimize card payment infrastructure competitiveness by adopting new industry standards.
• Partner with machine learning teams to increase payment success rates.
• Build stable, scalable foundations for payment infrastructure to support business growth and minimize service interruptions.
• Manage the end-to-end payment lifecycle, including connections with card schemes, authorizations, captures, refunds, and reconciliation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience, ideally within a high-growth environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with coursework in engineering or computer science.
• Strong ability to structure complex problems and make data-driven decisions using first-principle insights.
• Excellent communication skills to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep expertise in payment processing, specifically working on direct integrations with Visa and MasterCard (preferably on the acquiring side).
• Solid technical understanding with the ability to engage in architectural discussions with engineering teams.
• Proven ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional team environments.
• High level of drive, grit, and persistence to move ideas to reality quickly.
