Staff Product Manager (0-1 Billing)

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the payments and billing product strategy, covering vision, solution design, and roadmap execution for cross-border payments, FX, and settlements.
• Build and enhance scalable billing and invoicing solutions that support recurring payments, automated reconciliation, and global compliance.
• Leverage AI/ML insights to optimize billing processes, including automated invoice categorization, fraud prevention, and churn prediction.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and commercial teams to deliver reliable products capable of handling high transaction volumes.
• Rapidly iterate on new features such as subscription management, smart invoicing, and flexible pricing models based on user feedback.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation and responsible AI adoption.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in Product Management, specifically within payments, billing, invoicing, or financial services.
• Proven track record of taking products from ideation to delivery at scale in global payments or digital wallet environments.
• Hands-on experience building or managing billing systems, including subscription billing and automated reconciliation.
• Strong ability to balance long-term product vision with immediate growth and execution needs.
• Experience working in data-driven, cross-functional teams and leveraging analytics to guide decisions.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple time zones.
• Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical and AI product strategies to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building end-user experiences for invoicing or merchant payment solutions with AI-powered automation.
• Background in hyper-growth startup environments or fintech.
• Experience collaborating with AI/ML engineers on use cases like fraud detection or revenue recognition.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
