Staff Product Engineer

About the Company

Fleek is building the infrastructure powering the global secondhand clothing trade. Through our B2B marketplace and AI systems like FleekSort, we are digitizing the supply chain to make secondhand fashion the first choice and prevent garments from ending up in landfills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Demand System end-to-end, including mobile, web, and core backend services
• Lead and develop a high-performance team of approximately 5 engineers
• Integrate AI classification engines into the marketplace experience
• Set technical direction, architectural standards, and engineering excellence
• Partner with Product and Design to drive buyer conversion, retention, and growth
• Remove structural bottlenecks and establish observability and performance guardrails

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Prior Senior or Staff-level ownership of critical product systems
• Full-stack expertise spanning UI, API, data, and infrastructure
• Strong fundamentals in system design, data modeling, and API architecture
• Experience in consumer marketplaces or e-commerce
• Proven track record of leading and developing engineering teams
• Experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
• Product-oriented mindset with ability to connect technical decisions to commercial outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Familiarity with React Native and mobile development
• Experience building experimentation and analytics foundations
• Experience building or deploying AI capabilities at scale
