Staff Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process from discovery to delivery, iterating based on usage data and feedback
• Design user-friendly experiences across marketing sites, web applications, and documents for landlord insurance
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to translate user needs into design solutions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups balancing user goals and technical constraints
• Conduct usability tests with landlords and insurance agents to validate design choices
• Simplify complex data and workflows such as coverage selection and policy management
• Review engineering PRs to ensure design accuracy and consistency

Requirements

• Strong visual and interaction design skills
• Expert proficiency in Figma for wireframing and high-fidelity prototyping
• Experience validating designs through user research and usability testing
• Ability to untangle complex workflows and design intuitive interfaces
• Strong focus on user flows and end-to-end journey mapping
• Proactive approach to solving problems and navigating ambiguity
