Staff Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for the RiskOS platform, from early-stage discovery through pixel-perfect delivery.
• Lead design for AI-assisted and AI-driven capabilities, including AI explanations, recommended next steps, and dynamic workflows.
• Partner with product, engineering, and data/ML teams to define how intelligence is integrated into UX patterns and interaction models.
• Raise the overall design quality bar through high-standard individual work and regular, candid critiques of the team's output.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level designers, modeling strong craft habits and structured thinking.
• Contribute to and evolve the Socure design system to ensure consistency across components and documentation.
• Translate complex, data-dense fraud and compliance workflows into clear, trustworthy, and actionable interfaces.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of product design experience, with a significant focus on enterprise B2B applications.
• Proven track record of designing AI-powered features in production (e.g., interpretability UX, recommendations, or workflow automation).
• Deep experience designing complex, data-dense applications within fintech, technology, or AI sectors.
• Strong design systems fluency, including experience with component architecture and documentation.
• Exceptional product thinking skills with the ability to articulate the "why" behind design decisions.
• A strong portfolio is required, demonstrating high-level craft in enterprise product contexts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing specifically for fraud, risk, identity verification, or compliance workflows.
• Familiarity with fintech or identity domains and regulated, compliance-heavy environments.
• Ability to read/write basic front-end code (HTML/CSS) or manage high-fidelity developer handoffs.
• Experience working alongside or within an in-house design system team.
