Staff Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Own a product area end to end from problem definition to shipped experience
• Set the systems vision to keep the product coherent as it scales
• Define how design and code work together using AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor
• Own AI-native UX patterns including human-in-the-loop oversight and trust calibration
• Drive product discovery through user research and quantitative data
• Drive design-system strategy including components, tokens, and patterns
• Level up the team through mentorship and feedback

Requirements

• Strong design foundation with exceptional craft and taste
• Experience with interaction, hierarchy, and edge cases
• Systems thinking at product scale
• Ability to work in ambiguity with high agency
• AI-native mindset in problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping front-end code (React, TypeScript)
• Experience setting design direction across multiple teams
• Experience building AI-native products using LLMs
