Staff Process Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes for humanoid robot production, including actuator, battery pack, body, and final assembly
• Create scalable standard work, process documentation, and workstation designs
• Develop production architecture including assembly flow, material flow, line balance, takt time, and workstation layout
• Support pilot builds and validate manufacturing processes on the factory floor during launch
• Debug production issues and improve build cycle time and yield
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to reduce cycle time and increase throughput

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering
• Strong experience developing assembly processes
• Experience with production line design and line balancing
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to solve problems on the factory floor
• Ability to work in person in San Francisco

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in robotics manufacturing
• Experience in EV or Aerospace production
• Experience with high-mix electromechanical assembly
• Experience with factory launch or production ramp
