About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for humanoid robot production, including actuator, battery pack, body, and final assembly
- Create scalable standard work, process documentation, and workstation designs
- Develop production architecture including assembly flow, material flow, line balance, takt time, and workstation layout
- Support pilot builds and validate manufacturing processes on the factory floor during launch
- Debug production issues and improve build cycle time and yield
- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to reduce cycle time and increase throughput
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering
- Strong experience developing assembly processes
- Experience with production line design and line balancing
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to solve problems on the factory floor
- Ability to work in person in San Francisco
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in robotics manufacturing
- Experience in EV or Aerospace production
- Experience with high-mix electromechanical assembly
- Experience with factory launch or production ramp
