Apex manufactures satellite buses at scale using a combination of software, vertical integration, and hardware designed for manufacturing. Their spacecraft enable everything from earth observation to communications.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering expertise in design, analysis, and testing of DC-DC power converters for harsh environments
- Work on electrical power system and sub-system level design trades and develop requirements
- Define and perform electrical power system verification testing and analysis
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to create new power electronics hardware
- Drive system and electrical architecture trades, component selection, schematic capture, prototyping, and production testing
- Provide technical leadership and manage related risk and change across the program
Requirements
- U.S. Person status required
- 8+ years of spacecraft electronics experience
- Experience across multiple spacecraft programs
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience in spacecraft design, launch, and operation
- Experience in integrated software/hardware verification and testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field
