Staff Power Architect – System Design

Responsibilities

• Define and own architectures for PMIC and advanced power converter products across multiple programs.
• Drive architecture trade-offs, including operating modes, startup/shutdown sequencing, and system boundary conditions.
• Develop and maintain low-level and system-level models using tools such as Simplis to support architecture decisions and risk reduction.
• Analyze stability, transient response, fault behavior, and corner cases to support validation.
• Collaborate with analog design, digital, verification, and test teams to ensure architecture intent is implemented.
• Create detailed sub-block specifications and maintain architecture documentation and design guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance during silicon validation and system-level debug activities.

Requirements

• Strong experience in PMICs, DC/DC converters, or mixed-signal power systems.
• Proven experience in architecture definition and architectural analysis for power management products.
• Proficiency with modeling tools such as Simplis and Simulink.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and cross-functional reviews.
• Ability to influence technical decisions through collaboration and technical credibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience contributing to advanced power converter programs.
• Familiarity with emerging architectures such as Multi-Level Converter (MLC) topologies.
• Knowledge of multi-rail power systems and power sequencing.
• Experience supporting silicon bring-up, validation, and root-cause analysis.
