Staff Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and performant
• Design and implement automation tools and processes to improve development and operations efficiency
• Design and architect the platform to scale alongside company growth
• Create and improve the developer toolset to enhance developer experience
• Elevate engineering capability through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and leadership

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a Senior Platform Engineer or Senior DevOps role
• Mastery of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience architecting multi-tenant clusters, implementing GitOps, and horizontal/vertical scaling
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Proficiency in deploying infrastructure-as-code and configuring cloud resources for security and compliance
• Strong knowledge of programming languages including Golang and Python
• Experience managing distributed systems like CockroachDB, ElasticSearch, or Apache Kafka
• Experience writing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Experience with the usage and development of Kubernetes Operators
