Staff Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding pharmacy service, including drug utilization reviews, patient counseling, and dispensing activities
• Manage medication dispensing, ensuring accurate interpretation, labeling, and product selection of prescriptions
• Direct technician workflow, verifying preparation, labeling, order entries, and inspections
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA and FDA rules
• Protect patient and staff safety by adhering to infection-control protocols and maintaining a sanitary work environment
• Update and maintain accurate patient profile records in accordance with state regulations
• Drive quality efforts by adhering to standard operating procedures and attending pharmacy team meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist License in the state of Ohio
• 2+ years of professional pharmacist experience
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems
• Ability to work the required shift (Wednesday - Saturday, 11am-9:30pm)
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50lbs
