Responsibilities
- Accurately and safely fill prescriptions using established workflow procedures
- Counsel patients on new therapies to ensure understanding and comfort
- Monitor patient adherence and provide ongoing medication consultations
- Maintain patient profiles and records in accordance with privacy and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy staff to support daily operations
- Ensure full compliance with NAPRA and Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) regulations
Requirements
- Part A license by the Ontario College of Pharmacists in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience
- Advanced proficiency in Kroll and general pharmacy IT systems
- Availability for 16 hours a week (specifically 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday)
- Weekend availability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a mail-order or high-volume pharmacy setting
- Flexibility to support shift coverage on short notice
