Staff Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely fill prescriptions using established workflow procedures
• Counsel patients on new therapies, ensuring understanding and comfort with their medications
• Monitor patient adherence and provide ongoing medication consultations
• Maintain patient profiles and records in accordance with all privacy and regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with a team of pharmacists, technicians, and other pharmacy staff
• Ensure full compliance with all regulations set by NAPRA and the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia

Requirements

• Part A licensed by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Advanced proficiency in Kroll and general pharmacy IT systems
• High attention to detail in prescription preparation and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a mail-order or high-volume pharmacy setting
