Staff Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through safe medication dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices
• Oversee pharmacy operations and act as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during specific shifts
• Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment by following established workflow procedures and safety guardrails
• Provide clinical care, including testing and prescribing services such as COVID/Flu and hormonal contraception where permissible
• Proactively deliver immunizations and support pharmacy technicians in learning immunization protocols
• Manage pharmacy inventory with a focus on protecting cold chain products
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations, federal laws, and company policies
• Collaborate with the patient's healthcare team to resolve insurance and medication issues

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require
