Staff Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care for adult hematology/oncology patients on unit 7W, including bone marrow and blood stem cell transplant (BMT), leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma patients.
• Provide acute care for adult surgical patients on unit 8E, including endocrine surgery, benign gynecologic surgery, and gynecologic oncology patients.
• Deliver high-quality care using a team-based approach for both patients and their families.
• Utilize telemetry capabilities to monitor and provide the highest level of care for the patient population.
• Float between units 7W and 8E as needed based on staffing requirements.
• Complete required hospital-based training, including competency check-offs for chemotherapy administration and EKG interpretation.

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN License.
• A complete and accurate resume must be attached to the application.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Oncology RN.
• Previous experience as a Telemetry RN.
