Staff Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care within an ambulatory Withdrawal Management program
• Assess and diagnose the needs of consumers, families, and significant others to ensure quality care
• Develop and communicate realistic, individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Implement nursing interventions and procedures to ensure consumer safety and wellness
• Maintain accurate and concurrent documentation of nursing care for multidisciplinary integration
• Participate in quality improvement, educational activities, and research endeavors

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New Jersey
• Valid driver's license
• Strong clinical nursing specialty and ability to use the nursing process
• Proficiency in word processing and general PC literacy
• Ability to provide person-centered care and communicate effectively with clients and staff

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in a substance abuse treatment program or facility
