Staff Nurse (RN) PICU

Responsibilities

• Manage outcome-directed, patient-centered care for critically ill children within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on professional nursing practice standards
• Assume primary responsibility and accountability for all patient care provided personally or under direct supervision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical and surgical subspecialties to direct care for general and cardiac intensive care patients

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current Illinois RN license
• Active BLS certification
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am) including every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric or PICU RN experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or higher
