Staff Nurse (RN) NICU

Responsibilities

• Provide outcome-directed, patient-centered care to neonates in a high-acuity setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on professional standards
• Assume primary responsibility and accountability for all patient care provided personally or under direct supervision
• Manage care within the Margaret M. and George A. Stephen Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing
• Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current Illinois RN license
• BLS Certification
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00pm-7:00am) including every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a NICU Registered Nurse
