Staff Nurse, Medical ICU

Responsibilities

• Manage patient-centered care that is outcome-directed using appropriate assessment skills
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, collaborating with Case Managers as needed
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned by the Care Center Director or Patient Care Manager
• Provide support to peers by acting as a resource person and working collaboratively within the team
• Utilize clinical pathways and standards of practice to ensure high-quality care
• Participate in continuing education and professional growth opportunities

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current Illinois RN license
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Ability to work onsite at the Hyde Park campus

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree or higher
• 2+ years of ICU experience
