Staff Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and wellness promotion for student-athletes in a dynamic boarding school community
• Serve as a primary healthcare provider and health educator for students residing on campus
• Perform routine health checks and coordinate care for illnesses or injuries
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations
• Maintain strong organizational and medical record-keeping standards
• Communicate effectively with parents, dormitory staff, and local emergency services
• Support the boarding community with occasional evening or weekend availability as needed

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making expertise
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a scheduled shift of Monday through Friday, 12:00pm–8:00pm

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field
• Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or adolescent healthcare
