Form Energy is an American manufacturing and energy technology company revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day technology designed to keep the electric grid secure and reliable. We are scaling up battery manufacturing at our high-volume facility in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end introduction of mechanical product and process changes into the manufacturing line
  • Map incoming engineering changes against production line state to identify risks to quality, throughput, and schedule
  • Lead production trials for new or modified designs, including defining trial plans and success criteria
  • Drive structured cutover planning across engineering, supply chain, warehouse, and production
  • Translate engineering changes into manufacturing execution language, including work orders and BOM/routing updates
  • Partner with Technical Program Managers to maintain change visibility and milestone tracking
  • Serve as the operations voice in design reviews and change control processes
  • Help develop NPI systems and standards such as change intake and readiness criteria

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, NPI, or engineering change management
  • Experience in high-complexity production environments like automotive, aerospace, or energy
  • Demonstrated experience managing product or process changes into live manufacturing lines
  • Hands-on familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle
  • Strong mechanical systems intuition and ability to read engineering drawings
  • Proven ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills
