Staff Network Software Engineer

About the Company

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain services and tooling that automate the network lifecycle
• Make network changes safe and transparent through CI/CD workflows and staged rollouts
• Develop observability systems including telemetry pipelines and signal quality tooling
• Close gaps between the network and the platform by integrating source-of-truth data and exposing APIs
• Collaborate with network engineers and SREs to develop product-quality tooling
• Manage large-scale projects and guide junior colleagues
• Contribute to system design and architectural thinking

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong coding skills and ownership mindset
• Proficiency in Go or readiness to switch
• Proficiency in Python
• Strong interest in infrastructure and/or networking

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in networking (CCNP, DC networking exposure, or ex-network engineer)
• Experience with automation/infra tooling (CI/CD, IaC, network-as-code)
• Low-level networking experience (eBPF, XDP, DPDK, or kernel networking)
• Experience designing high-load services and observability platforms
• Contributions to open source projects
