Responsibilities

• Own electrical design and optimizations for Crusoe Spark
• Support the Research and Development team as new technologies are explored
• Standardize and template design blocks for modular electrical systems
• Act as a technical subject matter expert during customer meetings
• Provide key support to Crusoe Industries manufacturing teams
• Pivot dynamically to support broader design engineering group on fast-track projects
• Research and test new electrical technologies for future prefab design iterations
• Own the electrical design road map for Crusoe Spark in partnership with R&D

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in prefabricated building electrical design and application
• Experience designing and iterating for modular data centers, specifically electrical and compute rack design
• Product Management experience supporting a product road map
• Field application experience installing and commissioning modular assets
• Deep understanding of AI compute load impacts on power distribution
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills for feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• AI modular data center design and field installation experience
• Professional engineering license
