Staff Mixed Signal IC Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture definition of analog and mixed signal functionality
• Work with the analog team to execute designs from abstract level down to transistor level
• Provide guidance and instructions for layout implementation, bench evaluation, and production test
• Actively participate in bench evaluation with support from the evaluation team
• Communicate design choices, performance, and progress effectively
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership for junior engineers

Requirements

• Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering degree
• 5+ years of progressive experience in architecting and designing analog and mixed signal circuits
• Hands-on experience with low power designs at the transistor level
• Proficiency with Spectre simulation tools or equivalent and behavioral/system-level modeling tools
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of signal processing, such as data-converters and DSP
• Experience with power design
• Experience in audio IC design
• A passion for audio technology
