Staff Microcontroller Sub-System Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy industry-leading verification methodologies such as Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and Formal Verification.
• Develop testbenches and verification components, including Universal Verification Components (UVCs), C models, and reusable verification environments.
• Perform comprehensive coverage analysis and collaborate with design teams to address coverage gaps.
• Work cross-functionally with design, SoC, and validation teams to solve complex problems.
• Support system solutions by assisting in design integration, test planning, and test vector debugging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of ASIC design verification experience, preferably with UVM-based environments.
• Proficiency in UVM and System Verilog.
• Familiarity with ARM or RISC-V ISA verification.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Perl.
• Basic familiarity with C/C++.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using formal verification tools like Jasper or VC_Formal.
• Understanding of processor or microcontroller sub-systems.
• Familiarity with AMBA bus protocols.
• Experience with gate-level simulation debug and power extraction tools.
• Knowledge of power-aware verification methodologies.
• Proficiency in System Verilog assertions.
