Responsibilities

• Define and maintain standard operating procedures for dimensional management
• Serve as the primary administrator of the engineering standards process
• Support the adoption and rigorous application of ASME Y14.5-2018 standards across Hardware and Integration teams
• Own critical tolerance analysis workflows and drive resolution of complex interface trade-offs
• Act as an internal subject matter expert, coaching engineering teams on GD&T best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of industry experience in mechanical design, GD&T, interface control, and dimensional management
• Proven ability to build, manage, and scale engineering standards processes in a production environment
• Experience working with production manufacturing teams to solve problems through dimensional management
• Demonstrated experience optimizing mechanical designs to ensure first-time yield on assembly processes
• Direct experience in product development within an early-stage environment
• Exceptional communication skills for managing standards across cross-functional teams

• Expertise in ASME Y14.5-2018 standards
