Staff Marketing Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Direct Mail (DM) campaigns, including pre-screened and invitation-to-apply processes
• Manage offshore teams by providing technical guidance, project assignments, and coaching
• Partner with channel owners and marketing managers to optimize target audiences and ROI
• Proactively measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies
• Translate complex business objectives into actionable, data-driven tactics
• Convert complex data into clear narratives and presentations for senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or a quantitative field
• 8+ years of marketing experience in financial services with a focus on pre-screened campaigns
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau
• Experience building data pipelines with Airflow and Snowflake
• Demonstrated experience with experimentation and hypothesis testing
• Strong ability to drive projects independently and communicate technical info to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field
• Knowledge of statistical modeling or machine learning
