Staff Manufacturing Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and execute manufacturing test strategies for L6 board-level production with ODM partners
• Develop test plans covering ICT, MDA, and Board Functional Test
• Define requirements for test stations, fixtures, software, and production infrastructure
• Support L10 system-level manufacturing test processes and deployment
• Specify manufacturing line requirements including sequencing, data capture, and tooling
• Monitor manufacturing yield, first-pass yield, and failure trends
• Lead technical investigations into manufacturing test failures and yield loss
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions with ODM partners
• Serve as the primary technical interface between internal engineering and ODM teams

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing test or hardware test engineering
• Experience in high-volume server manufacturing or complex compute/data center hardware
• Strong understanding of ICT, MDA, and Board Functional Test processes
• Experience working directly with ODM, CM, or JDM partners
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based test environments and scripting
• Familiarity with server hardware architecture (CPUs, memory, storage, BMCs, etc.)
• Experience defining test fixture requirements and supporting validation
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality metrics and failure analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with L6 board-level and L10 system-level manufacturing processes
• Proficiency with Python or Bash for test automation
• Familiarity with server diagnostics, BMC interfaces, and BIOS/UEFI
• Knowledge of manufacturing data systems and yield dashboards
• Experience with high-volume NPI, EVT/DVT/PVT, and production ramp
• Familiarity with DFT/DFM principles
