Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and roadmap for Preply’s ML platform to support growing GenAI adoption.
• Lead the architecture of platform capabilities across the full ML lifecycle, including training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Design cloud-native infrastructure for distributed training and inference, focusing on GPU-based environments and cost optimization.
• Establish observability standards for ML systems, including model metrics, drift detection, and data quality.
• Lead the evolution of GenAI and LLM platform capabilities, such as LLM Gateway services and vector retrieval infrastructure.

Requirements

• 9+ years of engineering experience in large-scale ML, data, or platform systems.
• Proven ability to architect and scale production-grade ML platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP or AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with LLM frameworks and GenAI infrastructure like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience building self-service tooling for Applied Scientists and Data Scientists.
• Expertise in vector stores and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
