Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior individual contributor leading design and analysis across the entire ML stack
• Define end-to-end architecture for MLOps, agentic AI, and model optimization
• Design and implement data processing, versioning, and labeling pipelines (HITL/Active Learning)
• Develop lightweight on-device monitoring for inference quality and concept drift
• Design autonomous agents for resource-constrained edge devices using log analysis and computer vision
• Implement security frameworks including model signing and injection prevention
• Collaborate with silicon teams to influence NPU and FPGA architecture
• Lead R&D on model optimization using graph-level and operator-level techniques

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of machine learning experience as a senior or staff-level contributor
• Ph.D. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Expert-level Python and deep experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Deep understanding of modern ML algorithms like Transformers
• Foundational understanding of computer architecture, digital logic, and RTL (Verilog/VHDL)
• Proven experience building end-to-end MLOps lifecycles
• Experience developing agentic systems using LLMs
• Domain knowledge in log analysis and/or computer vision
• Experience with on-device model security and hardware optimization (NPUs, GPUs)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ML compilers like Apache TVM or MLIR
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (Kubeflow, Argo)
• Familiarity with GPU scheduling and virtualization (Run:AI)
• Embedded system development experience (C++, Rust, Yocto)
• Familiarity with RISC-V ISA
• Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure
