Staff IT Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain core IT services and manage company-wide user and computer policies
• Administer Windows Server (2019/2022/2025) and endpoint patching policies
• Oversee and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and routing operations
• Manage authentication including local policies, SAML configurations, and SaaS hand-offs
• Administer VMware estate, including vCenter/vSphere and Horizon services
• Perform day-to-day SQL Server administration
• Manage and develop the Office 365 tenant to increase user engagement
• Support security operations, including Active Directory/Azure hardening and incident response
• Assist with corporate backups using Commvault managed services

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server build, deployment, and administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory management, including group policy and hardening
• Proven experience providing infrastructure support (DHCP, DNS, routing)
• Experience with Office 365 feature and policy management, including Exchange
• Hands-on experience with VMware vCenter/vSphere for host and VM deployments
• Experience with SQL support and administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pure Storage (iSCSI volumes, file systems, SMB policies, and replication)
• Previous experience with CommVault-based backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Experience with Cisco UCS support and administration
• Strong understanding of current Cyber Security methodologies, networking, and firewall basics
• Experience with PURE Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade
