Staff iOS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the iOS product, from technical architecture and performance to product quality and release discipline
• Set the technical direction and make architectural decisions for the iOS platform
• Design and implement experiences that handle live market data and real-time order state
• Lead code reviews and establish strong iOS engineering standards
• Partner with product, design, and backend teams to define APIs and ship high-quality experiences
• Contribute to the long-term mobile strategy and scalability

Requirements

• Significant iOS engineering experience shipping high-quality production applications
• Deep experience building trading, financial, or sportsbook applications
• Strong knowledge of Swift and the iOS SDK
• Expertise in performance, memory management, and real-time data handling
• Experience building apps that consume live data feeds
• High bar for product quality and user experience
• Strong cross-functional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with WebSockets, streaming APIs, or real-time data infrastructure
• Experience leading or mentoring iOS engineers
• Background in a high-growth startup environment
