Staff Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure computing environments are fast, available, and stable during exponential growth and spiky workloads
• Optimize software pipelines and automated testing to enable frequent, smooth production releases
• Own automated security tooling within the development pipeline and provide risk visibility
• Manage operational security including vulnerability management, network architecture, and intrusion detection
• Create safe, automated guardrails to enable engineering velocity and reduce on-call incidents

Requirements

• 7+ years of senior-level experience in software engineering, application security, and infrastructure operations
• Hands-on experience across Dev, Sec, and Ops domains
• Proficiency with Shell, Python, Go, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Experience with a cloud provider, ideally GCP
• Background in scaling environments managing high-volume financial transactions or regulated data
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B2C SaaS or regulated environments
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2, HITRUST, or PCI
• Experience in healthcare, benefits, or payments industries
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
