Staff Industrial Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale fitness equipment and integrated subsystems
• Manage end-to-end product development from research to DFM and launch
• Collaborate with Product Management, Mechanical Engineering, UX, and Software teams
• Communicate design ideas via physical prototypes, sketches, 2D presentations, and CAD
• Specify CMF for all user-facing parts and ensure production quality
• Facilitate design brainstorms and lead workstreams across multiple projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design
• 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Solidworks (surface modeling and curvature continuous CAD)
• Proficiency in Keyshot, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
• Experience with mass-production manufacturing (plastic injection, metal stamping, die casting, etc.)
• Strong analog and digital sketching skills
• Portfolio submission required showing process, problem-solving, and prototyping

Preferred Qualifications

• Fitness industry experience
• Advanced surfacing expertise
• Personal interest in wellness or fitness
