Staff Incident Responder

Responsibilities

• Run material incidents as incident commander, coordinating across detection, response, physical security, data center operations, legal, communications, and customers
• Build the IR program including runbook standards, severity definitions, materiality methodology, and post-incident review cadence
• Define the agent-human contract for response, including escalation criteria and evidence packages
• Design and operate the senior-IR on-call rotation and remain an active senior incident commander
• Analyze incident trends to surface systemic risks and turn learnings into program improvements
• Drive cross-functional remediation follow-through after significant incidents

Requirements

• Experience as an incident commander on material security incidents
• Proven ability to build IR program foundations like runbooks and evidence handling
• Systems thinking approach to turning incident patterns into durable fixes
• Fluency with agentic and LLM-assisted response workflows
• Ability to operate calmly as a senior leader during critical infrastructure attacks

Preferred Qualifications

• Incident command experience in cloud or hyperscale environments
• Experience building an IR function from scratch
• Experience with OT or physical-incident response
• Experience with agent-first response design
