About the role
Responsibilities
- Shape HR initiatives and projects that deliver services for business partners across Qualcomm.
- Advise, coach, and influence leadership decisions regarding people and culture.
- Conduct unbiased investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or ethical violations.
- Leverage advanced knowledge of HR best practices, including organizational development, compensation, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with senior and executive leadership to resolve complex Employee Relations issues in compliance with local laws.
- Manage high-risk investigations and partner with legal counsel and HR teams to ensure fair and objective employment practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, or related work.
- 3+ years of experience working within a large, matrixed organization.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese.
- TOEIC score of 800 or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience working in the technology industry within a global, matrixed organization.
- Experience interacting with executive-level leadership (Vice President level and above).
