Staff Hardware Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete test programs across all phases of the design process
• Release and optimize test programs and hardware on Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
• Source and procure ATE hardware including load boards and probe cards
• Analyze large data sets using JMP, SQL, and MATLAB
• Qualify new test hardware and software for production environments
• Contribute to cost reduction, yield improvement, and test time reduction
• Partner with overseas teams to transfer products into high-volume testing
• Investigate production yield issues and product returns to determine root cause

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 8 years of experience (6 years with Master's, 3 years with PhD)
• Minimum 3 years of ATE test engineering experience
• Product engineering experience with ATE coverage, margin, and binning
• Direct experience with wafer or die ATE testing, NI/Emerson TestStand, and Semiconductor Test System (STS)
• Ability to perform conducted RF measurements (S-parameters, AM/PM, noise figure, etc.)
• Experience with NI PIXI packaged part test architecture
• Experience analyzing complex data sets
