About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as technical lead for the design and development of complex electrical hardware systems for EVSE applications
- Drive system-level requirements and architecture decisions across multiple charging platforms
- Create system diagrams and requirements for cross-functional teams including software, firmware, and validation engineers
- Specify system behavior, including fault sources, thresholds, and thermal algorithm definitions
- Ensure designs align with industry standards and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 10-15 years of relevant industry experience
- Proven track record of leading complex hardware design projects from concept to production
- Ability to evaluate design documents, schematics, and layouts (digital, analog, and power)
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a DFX (Design for Excellence) mentality
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
