About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with EMC/RF engineering teams to scope and analyze regulatory and industry compliance requirements
- Plan and direct compliance testing of hardware platforms and devices with external 3rd party labs
- Track test setup requirements including chamber availability, testers, and software
- Coordinate with cross-functional software TPMs, module TPMs, and design engineering teams
- Communicate EMC/RF/Safety/Cybersecurity compliance strategy and risks to leadership
- Drive cross-functional debug on testing issues using structured problem solving frameworks
- Develop new processes and documentation strategies for program portfolio growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in RF/Microwave Design, Electromagnetics, Antenna, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in wireless regulatory compliance, testing, and certifications
- 5+ years of experience with wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, WWAN, 5G)
- 5+ years of experience launching mass-produced consumer or automotive electronics
- 5+ years of experience in international homologations and industry certifications (BT SIG, WFA, etc.)
- Strong leadership skills in driving certification labs and prioritizing testing plans
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test setups using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and call boxes
- Experience with semi-anechoic chambers and OTA chambers
