About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of high-speed PCBAs from prototype through NPI and high-volume production
- Design high-speed circuits including fast processors, large-scale FPGAs, DDR, PCIe, and high-efficiency power supplies
- Create schematics and layout designs for innovative high-speed wireless systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, operations, software, and RF engineers
- Provide leadership in value engineering to continuously improve product performance and cost
- Define subsystem performance requirements and analyze them through modeling and simulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 12+ years of relevant hardware design and test experience
- Deep expertise in wireless hardware design (digital and analog) and complex high-speed board design
- Proficiency with hardware test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, and high-speed oscilloscopes
- Experience using Arena PLM tools and managing full design cycles
- Ability to guide 4-corner testing and qualification processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols
- Experience with Ethernet, DDR4 waveforms, and wireless performance testing
- Understanding of S-parameters, phase noise, isolation, and return loss
- Statistical analysis abilities
