Staff Hardware Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of high-speed PCBAs from prototype through NPI and high-volume production
• Design high-speed circuits including fast processors, large-scale FPGAs, DDR, PCIe, and high-efficiency power supplies
• Create schematics and layout designs for innovative high-speed wireless systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, operations, software, and RF engineers
• Provide leadership in value engineering to continuously improve product performance and cost
• Define subsystem performance requirements and analyze them through modeling and simulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
• 12+ years of relevant hardware design and test experience
• Deep expertise in wireless hardware design (digital and analog) and complex high-speed board design
• Proficiency with hardware test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, and high-speed oscilloscopes
• Experience using Arena PLM tools and managing full design cycles
• Ability to guide 4-corner testing and qualification processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols
• Experience with Ethernet, DDR4 waveforms, and wireless performance testing
• Understanding of S-parameters, phase noise, isolation, and return loss
• Statistical analysis abilities
