Staff FPGA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Validate high-speed SPI, eSPI, and LTPI interfaces between the security processor, BIOS, and BMC
• Design, implement, and verify specialized FPGA logic for OEM mode configurations and secure provisioning
• Integrate FPGA designs into system-level CI/CD and simulation environments
• Collaborate with IP vendors to resolve integration issues and develop customized application layers
• Perform hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and Vivado ILA

Requirements

• Deep experience with SPI, eSPI, LTPI, and I2C/I3C protocols
• Proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog
• Experience targeting Xilinx, Intel, or Lattice FPGA architectures
• Familiarity with hardware-software interface application development
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Open Compute Project (OCP) DC-SCM standards
• Understanding of Root of Trust (RoT) and secure hardware handoff sequences
• Familiarity with modern hardware description methodologies
