Staff Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead forward deployed engagements across APAC from scoping to production deployment
• Act as the in-region technical anchor and escalation point for Kubernetes and platform issues
• Design and deliver changes to platform Kubernetes deployment patterns
• Define reusable reference architectures and deployment standards for the region
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and technical guidance
• Channel APAC field insights into the product roadmap

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production code experience
• Extensive experience leading senior-level enterprise customer engagements
• Deep Kubernetes expertise (cluster architecture, networking, storage, RBAC, operators, CRDs)
• Proficiency with Go controllers, Helm, and GitOps (Flux or ArgoCD)
• Strong observability expertise (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or Grafana)
• Experience with MCP servers or AI agent tooling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Startup mentality with strong ownership and self-direction
