Staff Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and validation of security solutions with high-performance NVIDIA-based server systems
• Diagnose and resolve failures in NVIDIA’s NVSSVT and NVRAS suites
• Implement and tune MCTP and PLDM over PCIe/SMbus/USB
• Work on NVIDIA RAS features to ensure predictable system behavior
• Develop and optimize OpenBMC-based firmware to support NVIDIA GPU management
• Partner with system teams to ensure firmware alignment with NVIDIA’s Fabric Manager and GPU software stacks

Requirements

• 5+ years in firmware engineering, specifically in BMC or server manageability
• Direct experience with NVIDIA GPU deployment tools, XID error debugging, and NVLink topology validation
• High proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
• Proficiency in Python/Shell for automation and validation scripts
• In-depth knowledge of IPMI 2.0, Redfish, and the MCTP/PLDM stack
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NVIDIA Fabric Manager and high-availability modes in DGX/HGX systems
• Familiarity with Root of Trust (RoT) and Secure Boot mechanisms
• Previous experience achieving NVSSVT compliance for BIOS/BMC vendors
