Staff Facility Engineer (Electrical)

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and compliant operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure within a wafer fab environment
• Establish and control MOS/SOP with strong change management and maintain accurate technical documentation
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and EHS on regulatory compliance and drive risk and safety programs (FMEA, LOTO, arc flash)
• Drive root cause analysis for electrical disturbances and lead predictive and preventive maintenance programs
• Plan and manage electrical load models, ensuring proper feeder loading, redundancy, and diversity
• Manage electrical capacity planning and oversee tool installation, energization, and commissioning
• Monitor power quality and deploy mitigations such as filters, UPS tuning, and SEMI F47 ride-through
• Drive energy efficiency projects including transformer loading optimization and smart metering analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of related work experience in Electrical Engineering within a wafer fab or semiconductor environment
• Experience in high volume manufacturing of electronic components within an MNC or semiconductor industry
• Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong technical competencies in electrical engineering and systematic troubleshooting skills (e.g., 5Whys, cause-and-effect)

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct working experience in wafer fab facilities
• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with a strong commitment to work quality
