Staff Engineering Technician - Piping(Power)

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and design teams by developing and modifying technical deliverables for piping in the power sector
• Utilize digital tools including CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling to create and maintain technical documentation and drawings
• Apply foundational engineering principles and established design practices to develop moderately complex design concepts
• Perform design calculations, detailed material quantities, and estimates
• Ensure all deliverables comply with specific project codes, standards, and company quality programs
• Coordinate with other design group personnel to exchange project information and ensure consistency across outputs
• Provide technical guidance to other engineering professionals and technicians

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
• Proficiency in CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling software
• Ability to handle difficult technical assignments within an area of expertise

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology
• Diploma or Certificate in a relevant technical field
