Staff Engineer, VLSI Design Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide High Speed DDR IO solutions for next generation Memory in advanced CMOS technology nodes
• Design high Speed IO Blocks, perform Powerbus analysis, and manage Jitter / High speed timing closure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Layout and Verification
• Participate actively in technical discussions and design reviews
• Propose innovative design solutions and methodologies for future generation products

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics & Telecommunication or Electrical engineering (VLSI Design)
• 4+ years of experience with IO circuit blocks used in memory products such as DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR4, LPDDR5, GDDR5, or GDDR6
• Hands-on design knowledge in Digital custom, Analog, and mixed-signal design environments
• Proficiency with Spice tools including finesim and hspice
• Familiarity with custom design methodology, calibration, and JTAG design requirements
• Understanding of High-speed IO circuit design including DLL, Rx, Tx, and clocking circuits

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NAND Flash Design
• Familiarity with High Speed layout guidelines and analog layout techniques (floor-planning, matching, shielding, and parasitic optimization)
• Understanding of package, board, Power integrity, and signal integrity constraints
• Strong automation and scripting knowledge
