Staff Engineer, VLSI Design Engineering (IO Design)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-speed DDR IO solutions for next-generation memory using advanced CMOS technology nodes
• Design high-speed IO blocks, perform powerbus analysis, and manage jitter and high-speed timing closure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Layout and Verification
• Participate actively in technical discussions and design reviews
• Propose innovative design solutions and methodologies for future generation products

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics & Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering (VLSI Design)
• 4+ years of experience with IO circuit blocks used in memory products (DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR4, LPDDR5, GDDR5, or GDDR6)
• Hands-on design knowledge in digital custom, analog, and mixed-signal design environments
• Proficiency with Spice tools such as FineSim and HSPICE
• Understanding of high-speed IO circuit design including DLL, Rx, Tx, and clocking circuits
• Familiarity with custom design methodology, calibration, and JTAG design requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NAND Flash design
• Experience with high-speed layout guidelines, analog layout techniques, floor-planning, and parasitic optimization
• Familiarity with package, board, power integrity, and signal integrity constraints
• Strong automation and scripting knowledge
