Staff Engineer Unit Process Development

Responsibilities

• Develop methods and processes for the economical production of welded and sintered joints in power electronics for automotive and industrial semiconductors
• Investigate multiple variables for process optimization, stabilization, and quality improvements
• Support the further development of sintering, ultrasonic, and laser-based welding processes in industrial series production
• Actively contribute to the achievement of KPI goals, including Cpk, OEE, Yield, and customer complaint reduction
• Prepare technical specifications for new non-standard equipment and machines in consultation with internal stakeholders
• Coordinate technical content with potential manufacturers according to established specifications

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Sciences, Physics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of industrial process development experience (e.g., electronics, metallurgical, or mechanical fields)
• Professional experience in assembly, connection, and welding technology
• Fluency in the Hungarian language and a good command of English
• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
