Staff Engineer, Thermal

Responsibilities

• Develop reduced-order thermal models and rapid thermal analysis methods to guide architecture and development of memory products
• Execute high-fidelity and comprehensive thermal analysis and data validation at both the semiconductor component and system levels
• Provide rapid steady-state and transient simulation solutions for semiconductor products
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and external partners to resolve complex thermal challenges

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Physical Science with 10+ years of experience
• Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Physical Science with 8+ years of experience
• PhD degree with 5+ years of experience
• Deep knowledge and experience in Thermal Engineering
• Expertise in FloTHERM and familiarity with other CFD tools
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of IC chip/package architectures and thermal design constraints
• Working experience in SiP (System in Package) thermal analysis
• PhD degree in Thermal Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of direct industry experience
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence applications
